Three of the works are live, experimental film scores -- one (Bob) by Los Angeles filmmaker Matt Smith, maker of outrageous and provocative short films, and two (Kali Yuga) animated shorts by internationally renowned filmmaker Joanna Priestly. In performance the musicians wear headphones and perform live to a click track, which is recorded onto one of the audio tracks of the video. Other works include Flame Head for electonics and percussion; Arabesque for piano solo; Drum Ride for percusion, violin, cello, piano and electronics; and Kanashibari for live electronics (DJ rig) and cello.

THUMB and WHISPER CHIPPER
Marcelo Radulovich (Composer/Trummerflora Collective member) will perform THUMB, a 44-minute piece based on a recording of a walk through the SD Zoo. Radulovich enhances this phonography with electronics, samples, tapes, and field recordings, to create a space which The Wire called: "a fluid and impressionistic ambient composition rich with environmental overtones."
Also that evening will be WHISPER CHIPPER, a collaboration with Radulovich and Marcos Fernandes. This is based on field recordings of a chipper/shredder which is run through multiple effects and eq-ed in real time to create shifting delay loops.
Hans Fjellestad (Trummerflora Collective) & Ivan Diaz-Robledo (Nortec
Visual Collective) will provide a live video mix.)
