Emily Hay Collective + Wormhole
The Emily Hay Collective (LA) is an ever-evolving group of musicians dedicated to the exploration of immediate sound interaction - musical improvisation based in the spontaneous moment and the complex stimuli of modern life - in order to defy pre-conceived notions of musical experience and the traditional roles and capabilities of instruments. Wormhole (SD) - Armed with an arsenal of percussive and electronic source material, Marcos Fernandes, Nathan Hubbard and Robert Montoya join forces to explore structured and open improvisation, soundart, beats and other sonic marvels of the 21st century. Fernandes, Hubbard and Montoya are members of the Trummerflora collective. Marcos Fernandes - electronics, percussion: Nathan Hubbard - percussion, electronics; Robert Montoya - sampler, percussion.
